Brendan M. Warn

Managing Director & Co-founder

Brendan has over 27 years of experience in the international energy, resources, capital markets & investment banking industries.

Prior to co-founding DIRECT Infrastructure (‘DIRECT’) and focusing on renewable energy solutions and the energy transition in Australia, Brendan was Senior Vice President, Total (TotalEnergies). Prior to this he held senior Managing Director roles in the global financial equity markets, research & investment banking with the Macquarie Group, Jefferies and BMO Capital Markets (Bank of Montreal) in London.

Prior to his banking experience, Brendan had more than 12 years of large-scale project management, engineering & consulting experience in Australia’s resources, infrastructure & energy sectors with BHP & consulting firm, Evans & Peck (acquired by WorleyParsons).

Brendan has a Bachelor of Engineering in Mining Engineering (UniSA), Masters of Commerce (UNSW) and an MBA (AGSM & exchange Tuck, Dartmouth College).

Brendan holds dual Australian & British citizenships
